Jordan and Angela are standing at the door looking at them when they hear the phone ring. Tom answers it. They is a short conversation when...
Tom - i gotta go, my buddies are back in town and they've heard of a job going so...
Jordan - so, you're gonna go to a bar with them, get wasted, miss the interview or whatever and start back at the beginning.
Tom - yeah, well, i do what i want
Jordan - like i didn't notice
Angela VO - i'm starting to feel really uncomfortable. I hope this doesn't turn into a fight.
Tom - Don't speak to me like that! i'm your father!
Jordan - Yeah? Well start acting like one!
Tom looks at him before picking up his jacket and leaving, slamming the door as he goes.
Jordan looks furious and yet relieved.
