Soundtrack
The music for the episodes was selected by director Winant Scott and "Snuffy" W.G. Walden. They used to watch the final cut of each episode while looking for suitable background songs. In addition, "Snuffy" created some instrumental background melodies individually for every single scene.
In January 1995 an official MSCL soundtrack was released on CD and audio cassette. Not all songs played in "My So-Called Life" episodes were included on that soundtrack. Here's the complete list of songs played in the show, sorted by episode number.
