How can I tell my mother? I should tell her right? I mean it wouldn't be right to hide it?
Brian: I think...
Angela: I can't tell her! It would kill her.
Brian: well maybe she already suspected...
Angela: God! and I knew! I knew my father had those... tendencies. You know I've caught him chatting up some girl, and on the phone to some... woman. God. How could I let this happen?
Brian: Angela, its not your...
Angela: hey, what am I saying? Its his fault!! Bastard!
Brian: right. he...
Angela: God. he had the choice. I can't believe it. and he said that it could never happen to us. God. my mother. she *has* to know.
they have arrived at their street, and are standing in between their housese.
Brian: right. she should know.
Angela: I know. She *should* know.
Angela starts to walk to her house, slowly. she turns around.
Angela: Brian, I can't see her. She'll know somethings wrong. she'll be all concerned. God. She'll cry. I'll make her cry. Brian, I can't watch my mother cry. I can't!
Brian walks over and hugs her.
Brian: it's okay. you can stay at my house for a while. no one's home. you should wait 'til you're ready.
they walk over to Brian's house. Brian unlocks the door, and they go inside.
