My So Called Life is not just a show to me it's memories. I was the same age as Angela. I shared her beautiful, awkward mannerisms. My high school mascot was the pirate. I didn't fit into any particular group.I had the colored hair. I was not the popular girl. At times I wanted to be my best friend & at times she wanted to be me. My parents were together and very protective. I had a thing with the most beautiful guy in my class. Those were some of the best times in my life everything seemed like such a big deal, every detail meant something. Everything was butterflies in my stomach exciting. I miss that feeling. My So Called Life brings it back.

"MSCL" was an inspiration. And its sad to see that commerically clad and effortly pointless shows remain to be aired. I am 16 and have just become addicted to the show, but unlike "dawson's creek" or "buffy" whom have TONS of re-runs to view, "MSCL" only one beloved, heartfelt season. This so pisses me off! Its so ironic how something worth something, something or value to those who dont have quite as big as the voice we'd like to, is worthless by the ones with the voices, who represent us. But as they say, "One persons trash is anothers treasure", and my "My so-called life" is my forever my priceless, unreplaceable antique treasure...

I believe this is a wonderful site dedicated to an AMAZING show that lived for too short a time. I can literally watch and rewatch My So-called Life without an ounce of getting tired of it, and in fact I have done it.. I regularly TiVo it on The-N.com! (late night nickolodeon haha) I miss the cast, and i wonder what's up with them nowadays? I know jared leto is doin well, in fact I met him recently on Brighton, he is shooting a new movie with Nicolas Cage! Mr. Leto looks better than ever! =) Everyone go out and buy the complete series on DVD !!

I loved this show they should have never taken it off the air. If it would of stayed on the air who knows how long it could of lasted. My fave characters were of course Angela and Enrique aka "Ricky" and of course the oh so hot Jordan! My fave episode was the halloween one. IO could watch that show forever. I never get sick of it. Someday one day I want to get the vhs tapes of the show so I can watch it over and over in my own warped little world and worship the show..but shhhh! You didn't hear me say that! ha ha.

I'm 21 now, and I've always loved this show. I was obsessed with this show in high school. I spent the entire day in my room one weekend and didn't go out with my friends while watching a MSCL marathon on MTV. I was like, 15 then, and related to Angela Chase, but I really related to Rayanne alot more. I happened to have shoulder length hair and was always dying it wacky colors. Once I dyed it an auburn-red color. My mom said to me "You know who you look like? That one girl from that show you really like...what's it called? You know, Claire Danes plays her." I was so pleased. My mom thought I looked like Angela Chase. I hadn't even thought of that. Anyway, now I watch MSCL on the N and it brings back memories of high school.

I'm down to the last five episodes, and I will just be crushed when it's over. I mean, who would cancel a show like that? I can relate to everything that goes through Angela Chase's mind. I am 13, so it really is great for me.
I've gotten alot of my friends into MSCL, and we have a little "fan-club".
The acting is superb in MSCL, and Claire Danes, Jared Leto (my gorgeous hunkadoodle) and the rest of the cast have so much personality and are perfect in their corky ways.
I love MSCL!

I watch MSCL every Friday.Its such a cool show.I mean i can relate to Angela's life.There is a guy in my school im i love with,I have a crazy best friend,and as gay guy whos also my friend and a really up tight friend.My mom is always on my back but i still love her,my dad is a chef,and i have a very anouing little sister.And highscool is a drag.I also have a realatinship with this guy im in love with,but he doesnt want anyone to know about it.That all so bye

You know, it's 2004...so I guess I was just ten years too late to really see the show when it was "up and coming." Whatever though. This was an awesome show, really ahead of it's time. There's something simple about it...maybe the fact that Angela is like a real person. That she has those weird thoughts that we get to hear aloud when us ourselves never tell anybody. Maybe it's that we all relate to Angela, Rickie, or Rayanne at times. God knows I have. Whatever it is, I know that it's kept some form of this teenage drama alive for ten years, and it was definitely deserving of more seasons.

I just was watching it the other day and I was thinking....I have seen everyepisode so far on the N and isn't it wierd how when Angela and Jordon go to say goodbye to each other they never accually say goodbye, one of them always says something wierd or just a random sentence and then they leave. And it's also wierd that we never accually see Tino Jordon's friend yet he is always mentioned. wierd huh??

My So Called Life was pretty much my life only in reverse, i'm a guy. my story was and in most cases still is that of angela chase. i had these friends and i these loves and these relationships. MSCL was the "anthem" for my generation and continues to be a time capsule of how it was to grow up during this period of time. i get brought back to the days when the show originally aired and where i was in my life and think "we had a time". it's very rare for a TV show to come along and be so real to life and gets this type of following. the only sad thing is that this show had to dissappear. I look forward to showing my kids these shows and show them just how incredible and how overwhelming teenage life can be.
