Just read "favorite moments" again after a long time and instantly I felt the magic again. It nearly made me cry with joy. To all you fanfic-writers: it's *magic* whatyou do. You all make a difference. And I am so proud to be a part of that. "Live and be prosperous".

I love to read all the new stories and poems, and I've even printed out Shannon and Shobi's (ER's) stories. I get so happy and excited when there's a message in my mailbox from the fanfiction site--it means someone has doneit again, written a great story or poem or MSCL thingy for all of us to enjoy. I hope you know, Sascha and also all the authors, how much your efforts are appreciated by everyone. Here's to all of you!!! :-]

I'm still not over the cancellation of My So-Called Life and this website keeps me sane ;) Thanks for existing!PS this is one of the few websites I've seen that has both a great quality and great quantity. Incredible content AND design. I love it!
- #665*TeReSa* wrote on Sunday, 17 May 1998:i cannot even begin to tell you how much i love ths site. i come here almost everyday(i'm addicted) just to read things i've read hundreds of times. and the second i get an update e-mail i'm here.i am, as my friends say, a hardcore my so called life fan. i have printed out every script from the actual series (from the pilot to the in dreams episode) and i have, and am proud of, tapes of the episodes in order. which was a painstaking but so worthwhle experiance. and i also have written a continueation script of my own which, if i ever finish, i would be honered to have it on this excellent page.this as well as countless other fan sites prove one very important thing:that my so called life didn't die out just because ABC wasn't happy with it's ratings. it lives on in all the people it touched. and if that makes me crazy for being obsessed, and dedicated with this show then most of the rest of us fans are crazy too, ad proud of it.thank you for having the GREATEST mscl site i've ever seen on the web.
- #664Chris wrote on Saturday, 16 May 1998:This is by far the absolute best MSCL site on the web!!!
- #663ann wrote on Wednesday, 13 May 1998:oh my gosh, how do i start?my so called life is possibly the best show ever created. the characters and stories in mscl are so real that they continue to haunt me years after watching it for the first time. i guess in this sense, you could say that the show will live on forever.i will perhaps never forget the way i felt when angela finally "got" jordan, and how unbelievably creepy it felt to watch angela and sharon's argument in the washroom, feeling that increasing sense of de ja vu. i don't want to sound like a critic, or aeen magazine, but mscl is really a show that i could relate to.i think one of the best ways to sum up the whole show in one sentence, would be to say that the show gives you something to think about when you're home and in bed, angst filled with the normal everyday problems that andolescents face these days.
- #662jasper huizinga wrote on Monday, 11 May 1998:Said it before, say it again: I love this site!So great to see so many people watched MSCL from start to finish and loved it as much as I did. (or even more!) fun to see that there are also people who like combining series like MSCL with X-Files. Especially Jeroen's stories are good. Very curious howt will develop. I am very impressed by Shobi's stories (which I all downloaded and printed to read more easily) and he really deserves a virtual round of applause. Perhaps in the future there will be another series. I am interested in the idea to write aout MSCL in, like, 1998. So when the characters are older. What would that bring? Maybe someone is already trying to write such a story. If not, I would like to try together with someone else. (two know a lot more than one !-) Sacha, this site is grrreat!thanks for bringing this opportunity to the fans.greetings from Groningen, the Seattle of Holland.(as in: Rock City)Jasper.

- #660fabio moon wrote on Sunday, 10 May 1998:I liked the simplicity the series would tell the life of teens, so to speak. And I was a huge Angela fan, for she was the girl full of flaws we all wanted to fall in love for.Grahan was a show on his own, he was so great that , in fact, he was the only thing "not real" in the show. But he was great.I do comic books. And soon I'll do some MSCL pages to homage claire. Maybe I send them to you. It will be a story different from the usually seen here, that I can tell you.thanks for listenningFabio Moon

- #657Linzi aka Miffy wrote on Sunday, 03 May 1998:Iremember watching the show ages ago, then the series finnished, and I forgot all about it. I wrote to a T.V station here in England and asked them to air it again, and hooraa! Ive got the set on tape. Its the best show to ever hit the planet, cos I can rlate to it so much, Claire Danes rocks, and Jared, well, what can I say!! ((hugz)) :)
- #656Christine Senger wrote on Sunday, 03 May 1998:It was real. And we all knew it. I remember the night it was canceled. It just stopped airing. In its place was Matlock. My best friend and I went crazy. We actually called the TV station to see when it would return. They refused to answer us. Nothing wasright after that. Television became a whirl of one liners, Soap Opera themes, and two demensional plots. This site helps us to voice everything real to us or things we know would be just as real to Angela Chase.
- #655Tina L. wrote on Sunday, 03 May 1998:Since we have many German speakers here I will say:Ich liebe diese Fernsehserie! Ich kann mit Angela Chase verbinden. Ich bin auch eine, die alles analysiert!...In other words, MSCL rocks. I was 15 when the show aired (same as Angela). I can't believe it was taken off the air=( MSCL and Swans Crossin(my other favorite teen show) made my adolescene! Oh well, MSCL lives on in this way cool page and fanfiction. Danke fuer dieses Webpage!

- #653Sascha wrote on Friday, 01 May 1998:Hi and welcome to the MSCL fan fiction site !I just finished uploading the new fanfiction layout (finally ;-). I hope that the tables aren't too big and load fast. The site is still under heavy construction. (i have still too much ideas ... ;-)So thanks to everyone, who has left a message in this guestbook. Be sure, i read and enjoyed every single entry !And an incredibly huge "thank you" to the authors -- hey, we made * 1 0 7 * stories ... wow !!I'm sure, Winnie Holzman would be proud of us... ;-)Oh, something to Sean's question about the age of MSCL-Fans: It's a phenomenon of MSCL that it has fans of nearly every age.Although the biggest part of fans are between 12 and 18, a (not) surprisingly high quote is older than 29. I know even of some fans older than 50.If only the "Nielsen family" would have liked it as much as we do ... :-)see ya soon ...

I have seen every episode, and read every script!!! I am basically obsessed. I am 13...almost Claire Danes age when she got the part (God!!!!!!!!! Ifonly I were her!!!!!) Basically, I identify with every single sentence and every single look and every single situation in that. Me and my friend have also sort of put ourselves in the parts...how do you explain it....like how we would react the same inthe same circumstances...and we have found how very similar it is.....god, I'm babbling aren't I...I'll stop now. Anyway, I heard about this from the US magazine "surf it" (how cool!!!) and I wrote a poem....:) I just hope some people like it. :)
- #637Mandy Ennis wrote on Thursday, 19 March 1998:I love MSCL. I started watching the show when MTV started airing it this last time. I've now seen every episode at least 5 times. I just haven't seen the first half of the first episode. I keep missing it and it's driving me crazy! I love this websight!I heard about it through US magazine.) I've read every script. I don't like the ones where Angela ends up with Brian. Angela and Jordan. That's what I like. I think most teenagers can totally relate to MSCL. Ta-Ta!
- #636Jeremy wrote on Tuesday, 17 March 1998:Comments:MSCL is one of the best series that I have had the pleasure of watching. It is in this series that we can find a part of our selves in the charactors that were portrayed on a weekly basis in the show. It is that felling that made the show so emotional ad heart fulling for thousands of souls across the world. It is a sad fact that the series was canceled in it's opening moment of glory. Holding us back from a work of art. Leaving us with a uncompleted masterpiece, that some may considered worthy of gratness. Imagine if we had been left with half of one of the greatest stories of all time, like Romeo and Juliet and etc. We would have been robbed of unreplacable moments and times of joy. And for MSCL, we have been robbed of a great work in the proces. So for those who loved the show. My sympathy for it's cancelation, but let's not let this be the last chapter in MSCL. Write your stories and tell everone how you feel. Keep the dream alive. Who said that you need some big flashy company to make thshow. If it was up to me, I would pay the actors every dime I had and film it with my home camcorder just to say it was completed. If it was only that easy, but it is not. So all we are left with dreams of what once might have been. And finally, Claie, If your reading this, ( and I doubt it ) come back to us and answer the dreams of millions across the world.

I think it says alot about our generation when we pull together to keep something we really believe in. It's a crying shame they thought it appropriate to cancel a show thawas the only real true-to-life portrayal of teen-age life. Congratulations and thanks to Michelle and the other authors for giving us the outlet to express our thoughts and feelings about such an important and worthwhile subject. This is so much more thajust about MSCL, this is about us and our determination to stick together despite all.

- #605Jennifer Carpenter from United States Of America wrote on Thursday, 29 January 1998:ger today. When Winnie Holzman created this series she must have truly understood the views and problems for which we go through on a daily basis and it truly shows. It also gives you a group of actors who give you the lines as if they where truly thereown and that they where fashioned as their own. They make you believe in their charachter and make you believe that if they can go through the problems for which they face that you can as well. You can truly watch this show and relate to everything abouit. I know that if ABC would have received My So-Called Life today and right now they gulp it up in a minute. MSCL was ahead of its time and took the plunge where others would not go and that is what makes it so unique and special and importanto all of us. Thank You. Jennifer Carpenter

Unfortunately here in Canada we no longer get episodes of the show. What I would give to have MTV!! I was devastated when MSCL went off the air -- it was the most intlligent thing on T.V. and will be remembered forever. Now, with the help of all these talented writers, it's like watching the show all over again. Thank you so much. You are all doing a great job and keep up the good work!!

- #591Sarah wrote on Saturday, 17 January 1998:Wow! I read about this website in US magazine! They were totally right! I read a bunch of the fan fiction stories last night and somemore today. It was totally like I was reading a script!! The authors are really talented. They even have the speech pterns of the characters down. I would totally love it if they came out with MSCL the movie. Some of you guys should be recruited as writers. Who knows?? Maybe I'll write something. This is an awesome website!! Thanx!
- #590Andrea Danielson wrote on Saturday, 17 January 1998:Now this is what I call an amazing web site. I thoroughly enjoyed the stories and especially the poems, which I printed out. MSCL was an extraordinary show, but I realize now that it could never continue now. Seeing these stories allows me to experiencewhole new version of MSCL. Thanks for such an awesome web site.
- #589Moon wrote on Saturday, 17 January 1998:Hi everyone, I'm part of those who watched MSCL when it first came on t.v a couple of years ago and like all of you, I got hooked. Unfortunately, here in Canada, we don't get MTV and I've suffered a big deal when the show was cancelled. I was wondering ifsomebody could give me an address in Quebec (around Montreal) Canada where I could find a set of the videotapes of MSCL. It would be really appreciated. By the way, I love the site. The stories and poems are great, keep up with the good work!Moon
- #588Moon wrote on Saturday, 17 January 1998:alex - 01/17/98 00:07:16My Email:aa30598@appstate.eduCountry: usaComments:This is my first visit to this site after reading about it in US magazine. I too fell in love w/ MSCL after watching it on tape, and was sorely disappointed that there would be no more. So, I'm excited to read more of the scripts to see what others imaginwill happen to everyone. I've only had time to read one, but I enjoyed it immensely. And I'm glad to know that others share my (and I'm only half joking when I say this) obsession with mscl. The show made my heart hurt, in that good way, with its pathosnd humor, and of course, its own dialect (which I occasionally lapse into after watching a marathon). So anyway, I'm so glad to have discovered this place and look forward to returning.
- #587Lindsey Sobecki wrote on Saturday, 17 January 1998:This whole website is great but my favorite part is the poems. They are really great, especailly the ones that are not adapted from the shows. I hope to see ltos more of them, any kind, because all of the authors sounded like incredible writeers. I likot write poetry myself but mine are not as good as some of those. Please write more and maybe I will add some myself. Thanks!-Lindsey

- #582Apryll Cassano wrote on Wednesday, 14 January 1998:People need a program that they can relate to. My So-Called Life was the closest show that came to being a show for teens and adults to relate to. There are no programs today that give you a real good prespective on life. My So-Called Life made you feel"it wakes you up".
