(EXT.PARKING LOT - LIBERTY HIGH.DAY)
(RAYANNE watches RICKIE and JORDAN talking. RICKIE looks away a lot, doesn't meet JORDAN's eye. He backs away a little. JORDAN grabs RICKIE by the arm to stop him leaving. RICKIE tries to escape. RAYANNE, fuming, rushes over to them.)
RAYANNE: What d'you think you're doing?
(JORDAN releases RICKIE, regards them both.)
JORDAN: I want to know, if either of you know what is happening between Angela and that kid Brain, okay, 'cause I'm not getting any straight answers from either of them!
RAYANNE: (cool.) Well maybe if you weren't such a neanderthal, she'd talk to you like you were human. Oh well.
(RAYANNE and RICKIE turn to go.)
JORDAN: So, that's it. You're not going to tell me anything.
RAYANNE: (as she leaves.) Just leave it Catalano!
(JORDAN sighs, walks away.)
RAYANNE: What'd he want?
RICKIE: (sigh.) Well, like he said.. he thought I knew something about Brian or something, 'cause I knew about the letter.
RAYANNE: (sigh.) I'm getting you a can of mace for your birthday. (Beat. RICKIE half-smiles.) So, what is the deal with Angela and Brian?
RICKIE: (shrug.) I honestly don't know.
RAYANNE: Well, I know who might.
(RICKIE and RAYANNE turn to where BRIAN was, and see that...
