Liberty High School In the Halls
Rickie and Angela are walking to class together (not English)
Rickie: I saw Brian earlier. He looked like well, like he just experienced something incredible. I have never seen him smile like that before, looking like he was on top of the world.
Angela: Brian and I went out on Friday night.
Rickie: As in Brian Krakow, the Brian Krakow that lives across the street from you? That Brian Krakow?
Angela: Yes, that Brian Krakow.
Rickie: Why? I mean I thought you couldn't stand him and couldn't be in the same room with him.
Angela: It was weird. I mean I went out on Friday night with Brian Krakow but it wasn't the Brian Krakow we see everyday in the halls and in class.
Rickie: How so?
Both walk into the girls bathroom and check to see if it is empty and it is and then both facing into the mirrors
Angela: He was a total gentlemen. Even though sometimes he didn't say the right thing and the awkward silences happened every so often, he had some idea of what he was doing. I mean I know he was trying to impress me but it wasn't a phony effort, he was real.
Rickie: Wow! Real how?
Angela: Like he had been preparing for it his whole life.
Rickie: He probably had been preparing his whole life for it.
AngelaVO: Could Brian been preparing for that date his whole life? Wow, that's along time to figure out what you want to say to somebody.
Rickie: How long until you see Brian again?
Angela: After gym, with you in English. I think Rayanne will show up to English just to see how Brian acts towards me.
