(INT.GIRLS BATHROOM - LIBERTY HIGH.DAY)

(SHARON, looking concerned, approaches the door, taps.)

SHARON: Rickie, is everything okay?

RICKIE: (muffled.) I'm fine.

SHARON: What's wrong?

(Beat. SHARON sighs. Enter ANGELA.)

ANGELA: Hey.

SHARON: Hey.

(SHARON pulls ANGELA aside.)

SHARON: (whisper.) Is Rickie okay?

ANGELA: What?

SHARON: Ssh!

(SHARON points to the shut stall door, makes crying action. ANGELA makes "are you serious?" face. SHARON nods, exit. ANGELA approaches the door.)

ANGELA: Rickie? (Beat.) Rickie, what's wrong!?

RICKIE: Nothing.

ANGELA: So, why are you crying?

(RICKIE exits the stall, no longer crying.)

RICKIE: I'm okay. (ANGELA looks disbelieving.) I just made the biggest fool of myself, okay, happy?

(RICKIE washes his face.)

ANGELA: What happened?

RICKIE: I cannot talk about it, okay?

ANGELA: (gently.) Okay. (Beat.) It's okay.

(ANGELA hugs RICKIE. The door opens, enter
