"If we don't do it now, we never will, because without knowing it, you said, like, the perfect thing," she said, kissing him tenderly.
"What did I say?" he asked, smiling in a mixture of pleasure and bewilderment.
"That thing about it hurting to look at me, I've always thought that would be like the perfect thing to be told, and there you go, proving to me all over again how perfect you are," she said happily.
They began to kiss passionately, and that night they finally did the thing that had torn them apart the first time they had tried at love. But things were different now, because their love was mutual, and it was real.
It was real.
