(ANGELA rounds a corner and sees JORDAN leaning against some lockers, talking to someone unseen in a doorway. She hesitates, and he finishes his conversation)

ANGELA: Hey.

JORDAN: Hey.

ANGELA: Uh. So.

JORDAN: Yeah.

ANGELA: Look, I know this might have nothing to do with me. Or whatever. But. What did you say to Brian, the other day? Because, it would be really good. If I knew. Because (chin trembles)

JORDAN: No, it's cool. I just, like....told him. No more tutoring. Whatever. It's finished. Too much hassle.

ANGELA: But-but what about your tutoring? I mean, isn't Mr Katimski, uh, like, expecting you to, finish the work, or something? I don't know.

JORDAN: (shrugs) It. Just wasn't working. With Brain. Too much...other stuff. With you.

ANGELA: With me? Why, what did he say?

JORDAN: (surprised) Nothing. Just. How it is. Right. Gotta go. (he turns)

ANGELA: Are-are you coming to, uh, English?

JORDAN: (turns back) Uh, yeah. Gotta ask, teacher guy, you know. About another tutor. Or something. (he goes)

AVO: How is it, that... that always happens? I mean, whenever, I, like, plan to talk to someone. About something. Like specifically. We always end up talking about, something else. And usually, I end up with more questions than answers.
