(JORDAN, filled with frustration and confusion, hits BRIAN continuously. BRIAN unsuccessfully tries to defend himself.)

ANGELA: Jordan! Jordan, stop! Stop it, my God!

(JORDAN stops, glaring at BRIAN.)

ANGELA (cont'd): What the hell do you think you're doing?!?

JORDAN: What am *I* doing? What's he doing?

ANGELA: You can't just go around beating people up, 'cause they do something you don't like.

JORDAN: I thought you were my girlfriend.

ANGELA: I don't *belong* to anybody, okay. I'm not some kind of possession or something, you just pass around or something, okay.

JORDAN: I know you aren't, I never said that, I just-- okay, I don't understand Angela, I mean, are we together, or aren't we?
