SHARON: Sure. I'll arrange a date for you.

DELIA: A date? Um, Sharon. I don't know...it's kind of...too soon. You know? After...everything. (she smiles to hide her upset) And anyway, Rickie is, like, really nice. It's just too bad that...

SHARON: (sighs) Delia. You cannot, like, hang your hopes on Rickie Vasquez, okay. I mean, I'm sure he's nice and all, but it's just, like, not gonna work out. It's a relationship that was doomed from the beginning.

DELIA: Well, at least he didn't, like, lie about it, and pretend he liked me, and then find someone else...like...

SHARON: No, he is, like, much better than Brian Krakow, God. I still cannot believe that. No, what I mean, Delia, is that you can't, like, continue having a crush on someone who will, like, never return your feelings in the same way. I mean, it's none of my business but...

DELIA: No, I know. I was never really expecting anything from him. It was just a nice...dream. I guess.

SHARON: Well, here's a better one. There is like this, great, guy I know. Actually, do you know him, Corey Helfrich? He paints, like, shoes. And stuff. He's painting the scenary for 'Our Town'.

DELIA: Um...maybe.

SHARON: He's really nice, I'll, like, organise it. Okay?

DELIA: (smiling) Okay.
