I just realized my kids someday will say "Wow my dad went to William Patterson University in the 90's"

I had more hair back then! (actually, I had more hair before this DVD debacle, as well).

I think we all had more hair. And fewer ulcers too.

I need to get to North Jersey more often. ^_^ Grease trucks sound intriguing...

I'm going to Stockton College down near Atlantic City myself. Junior year.

Hey folks - first post for me. Got done reading about a weeks worth of posts here a while ago. Holy sh*t, Batman! I went from, "Well, I'll PROBABLY get my DVDs from AU" to 'OH MY F*CKING GOD, HOW DO I BUY FROM AMAZON!" Yay. I will give it about another 30 days before I cancel w/ AU altogether. And I DO realize how generous I'm being. I ordered these items, like so many of you, way the hell back in Feb. of this year. I was so excited. So trusting. So STUPID!

Question: Amazon is stating that the DVDs will be avail. for shipping Nov. 5th. But on the receipt page, it then states: shipping estimate June 16, 2003 - November 11, 2002. Is this just a cover-your-ass-technique, in case the items are not in stock, or something worse? Anyone have an idea? At any rate, you cn cancel an order online, and I recently got a Twin Peaks 1st season DVD superfast from these guys, so I'm more inclined to trust them over AU at this point.

Anywho, I'm NOT from NJ! :D I'm from Santa Cruz, CA. But enjoyed the NJ chit-chat anyway.

BTW Jason: I once got an email from regarding the lunchbox (which CLEARLY we will never see) and you mentioned that it would NOT be coming with a bag of Cheetos or something. Too funny!

Well, we shall see how this all shakes out. As of now I have two irons on the fire and am more than a little irked. Good luck to us all!
"Oh, just say the word and she's a footnote in history. I'll make it look like a painful accident..."
