Hey folks - first post for me. Got done reading about a weeks worth of posts here a while ago. Holy sh*t, Batman! I went from, "Well, I'll PROBABLY get my DVDs from AU" to 'OH MY F*CKING GOD, HOW DO I BUY FROM AMAZON!" Yay. I will give it about another 30 days before I cancel w/ AU altogether. And I DO realize how generous I'm being. I ordered these items, like so many of you, way the hell back in Feb. of this year. I was so excited. So trusting. So STUPID!

Question: Amazon is stating that the DVDs will be avail. for shipping Nov. 5th. But on the receipt page, it then states: shipping estimate June 16, 2003 - November 11, 2002. Is this just a cover-your-ass-technique, in case the items are not in stock, or something worse? Anyone have an idea? At any rate, you cn cancel an order online, and I recently got a Twin Peaks 1st season DVD superfast from these guys, so I'm more inclined to trust them over AU at this point.

Anywho, I'm NOT from NJ!

I'm from Santa Cruz, CA. But enjoyed the NJ chit-chat anyway.

BTW Jason: I once got an email from regarding the lunchbox (which CLEARLY we will never see) and you mentioned that it would NOT be coming with a bag of Cheetos or something. Too funny!

Well, we shall see how this all shakes out. As of now I have two irons on the fire and am more than a little irked. Good luck to us all!
