(ANGELA looks at DANIELLE huffily unpacking her schoolbag. She looks at JORDAN, out the window, lighting a cigarette before leaving.)

ANGELA (VO): I hate these kind of situations. If I run after Jordan, I make Jordan happy...

FADE TO:

ANGELA'S POV: SHOT OF JORDAN smiling as we approach him. His lips start to move in silent speech.

FADE TO: PRESENT

ANGELA (VO): But Danielle will probably get mad, and tell mom and dad.

FADE TO:

ANGELA'S POV: SHOT OF PATTY and GRAHAM yelling at us.

FADE TO: PRESENT

(ANGELA shudders, shakes her head.)

ANGELA (VO): Happy at home or happy with Jordan? Happy at home, or happy with Jordan? Happy at... (the sound of JORDAN's car driving off) Home.

ANGELA: Listen, Danielle... just don't get the wrong idea, okay? I mean, I wasn't sneaking around with Jordan, okay, we were just in the lounge room, there's nothing wrong with that?

DANIELLE: Does mom know Jordan was over here?

(Beat. Check mate.)

ANGELA: Okay. Fine Danielle. Tell her. But don't expect anything from me again if you do, don't expect me to share anything with you ever again. I seriously mean it!

(ANGELA gets up, and calmly walks out of the room.)
