(BRIAN nods. ANGELA thinks.)
ANGELA (VO): Maybe going out alone with Brian Krakow isn't such a great idea.
BRIAN: Um, that-that'd be really good, 'cause, um, I've been studying, like, a lot, for my PSAT's, and I could really just use some.. free time, or whatever. Just.. you know.
ANGELA: Yeah.
ANGELA (VO): Oh God.
BRIAN: Um, so.. Friday.
ANGELA: Yeah. What- what do you wanna go see?
BRIAN: Um, I don't really care, too much. What do you wanna see?
ANGELA: I don't really care that much either. I mean, I guess we can just decide when we get there.
BRIAN: (smiles.) Fine. Um, I-I have to go, uh, to band, but.. I'll see you later.
ANGELA: Yeah. Later.
(Exit BRIAN. ANGELA wanders along.)
ANGELA (VO): I know Brian is looking forward to this, and I-I want to be nice to him, but I don't want him to think I'm, like, in love with him or something, like, this is some kind of encouragement. God. Maybe I should...
