Chapter 8: Party Life Ain't That Great

Jordan and Angela enter the party hand in hand. Angela looks around, choking on the thick smoke in the densly populated house. Jordan quickly drops her hand and walks over to meet some of his friends. Only this time, he looks back. He turns back around and sees the slightly annoyed look on Angela's face. He quietly excuses himself and heads back over to her.
Angela: Back so soon? It's clear that she is very annoyed, yet not surprised at all.
Jordan: Well, I, like missed you, or something.
Angela VO: Or something? Maybe you saw how annoyed I looked, and remembered how you're on thin ice....
Angela: So is there anything to do here?
Jordan: Dance, drink, go upstairs....
Angela: You dance? Jordan chuckles.
Jordan: No. I'm not really that... type, ya know?
Angela: And what type am I?
Jordan: You, you're you. You're Angela. He says this like it should make all the sense in the world.
Angela VO: Thanks for that wonderful boost in self-esteem, oh wonderful boyfriend.
Jordan: Want to leave?
