I must be insane...I must be insane...I just called AU and spoke to Wade. My original intention was to confirm my order cancellation (which I had done on Oct 14 through the Drygrass form.) Wade said that he had a long list of people who had submitted orders via the Drygrass site to input into the computer in between all the phone calls, but that we would input mine right now if I was sure I wanted to cancel. He assured me AU would be receiving the DVDs sometime next week (no specific date yet.)
![]() ![]() I think I must have suffered some kind of mental collapse, because I agreed to keep my order with AU. That’s not to say I will cancel my pre-order from Amazon, or I won't cancel with AU again. I guess the reasoning behind my masochistic decision is because I really want what I ordered and long ago paid for. I want the bonus disc and lunchbox more so now as symbols of the hell I went through for my devotion to this show I love. If only there were a button somewhere that I could push. To force me to stop talking.

I did the same thing the other day, by keeping one of my two orders open once I got someone on the phone. But, here is what irks me: You just reported that Wade is STILL imputting cancellation request that were logged on the 14th? So, that was three days ago. Ya'know, ya gotta wonder what they are using over there, because THEY HAVE FAILED TO LEARN ANYTHING about customer service in the last 8 months. They still keep making the same mistakes. ![]() We'll I'm calling too, now, to assure that both my orders are cancelled and that credit to my respective cards are processes immediately. Mark I know what you mean...I submitted a form on the drygrass site to cancel my order. I knew when I filled it out that the chances of my order actually being cancelled were slim to none. I regretted my decision even as I was making it so I didn't follow up with a call or email to anyone else. I guess I'm hoping things will be sorted out and I'll have the DVD in my hot little hands before the end of November. But now if my order actually does get cancelled I won't be thrilled. My concern is that I've waited all this time to take any action and I'll be the one person who successfully had an order cancelled on time. Any thoughts what I should do?
Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someones neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing?
Based on what Wade said today, AU sounds like they are really backed-up. If you regret cancelling, I would call them a.s.a.p. Chances are good they have not processed your order cancellation yet. Their number is 888-5-comics. If only there were a button somewhere that I could push. To force me to stop talking.
Every time I hear some small company talk about the "X department", I think of the guy from Green Acres that ran the store/was the postman/was the.....all he did was change hats. Wade is probably the secretary/accounting department/shipping and receiving/all around broom pusher/s*^t shoveler... I love Green Acres! Oh no. Now I have the theme song stuck in my brain!
Green acres is the place to be Farm living is the life for me Land spreading out so far and wide Keep Manhattan just give me that countryside It's going to be running through my head all day...this can't be good! ![]() If only there were a button somewhere that I could push. To force me to stop talking.
I think you can sum that all up into what we all see as being the truth. Wade is Ross' bitch, plain and simple. He must be studying under Ross to grow up to be just as much of an asshole as Ross. Thanks! I love that pic of Beaker since he looks how I feel ![]() I've notice alot of people from OC posting here lately. We could all be living next door to eachother and not even know it ![]() Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someones neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing?
Well-
In one area I do feel sorry for them: Wade told me that customers are cancelling their cancelled orders, meaning that they want to uncancel their orders. So, I can see how that makes their lives tough. (No sarcasm.) Though, again, if they had a system in place to properlly track all orders in the first place, and expidite all aspects of orders, then this wouldn't be a problem. As I talked with Wade, I really, truly, felt bad for him. I am sure they are overwhelmed. Sure, they can blame BMG for the initial delays due to rights and what not, but past that, when they had our money, they should've realized that they needed to take on additional help or something, especially when they SHOULD'VE had the funds, since they charged us for the full retail by March on a product that didn't exist. Wade actaully complained that they were exspecting 2000 orders, maybe, and that our 3800 completely overwhelmed them. Again, I look to Rojek's management of this as the problem, which I am sure Wade cannot doing seeing where his paycheck is coming from.
