Didn't you say you got your refund? (honest question ... I thought I read that somewhere ... I may be wrong)

I didn't "sell out". I asked questions. Then I tried to calm things down.

Property value???? I'm missing something ... what do you mean?

"passive-aggressive" - first time I've been called that.

I'm sorry if I've offended you.
special_k wrote:erm, maybe like i was defrauded by your friend, rojek which most would still consider objectionable an action. lovely, that a special edition dvd is enough for you to sell out for. must be nice living in denial. how's your property value?

*who thinks it meek compared to the passive-aggressive way you've attempted to drag jason over the coals*

Cate wrote: a little harsh don't you think?

But tell me, how would you feel if you were still waiting because you really wanted the Special Limited Edition DVD Lunchbox set and you received Jason's email tomorrow morning telling you to cancel. You cancel and call your CC company etc. And then an hour or two (or whatever) later word comes through from BMG and GWhiz that payment has been received.

Ok, Cate, I have to agree too that you have passed my point of
"devil's advocate" (which is PERFECT in this case) and skeptic of
all things/people related to Jason, to simple gross misevaluator of
the situation.

We're waiting now for BMG and GWhiz?

And why would that be?

BECAUSE ROJEK, FROM ALL APPEARENCES, IS NOT FIT TO RUN
A BUSINESS!!!

If we hadn't ALREADY BEEN LIED TO BY ROSS "BMG has been paid
for 5000 units" ROJEK, then no one would be waiting now to hear
from anyone about whether Rojek paid them.

To question/warn Jason about the possible ramifications of NOT DELAYING his aforementioned e-mail borders on pathalogical denial
of our current situation and the kind of people we are dealing with.

Ross has lied and Jason has been deceived (along with the rest of us).
NOTHING THAT HAPPENS NOW CAN CHANGE THAT!!!

Period.

Mark

Okay, I won't erase that last post, but it's a whole lot less funny now that I've read the "Just who are Cate & MartinPierre???" thread. Especially since you (Cate) found the accusation of being Ross in disguise so funny.

Hey, I wouldn't miss a step if I found out that Ross had gone all Sybil on us during all this stress!

It is just that your wording used with Special K sounded *exactly* like something Ross would say, and the way he'd say it!

It's not about the lunch box, nor the SE disc.....it's about principle!

Correct me if I'm wrong but, is it not a fact that Mr. Rojek deceived his customer base by stating that he had, in fact, paid for this "non-exsistance pre-order" status to BMG numerous times and now when the "SCHEISSE" hits the fans - he's giving everyone the "run-around"? What kind of a FUCKED-UP, misaligned individual are we dealing with here? I've advocated patience from everyone regarding the DVD's in a prior thread(before this current "melt-down") and this is what AU delivers?
Perhaps, it is "I" that have misunderstood but, here in the midwest: a PROMISE is still a PROMISE and a handshake is not just a means of tactile contact! These fraudulent tactics by Mr. Rojek is inexcusable and personally, I would be ashamed to continue any business transactions with the ilk of Rojek.
I implore to the others, who still wish to purchase the DVD set with AU, that supporting the "Rojek-esque" regime is unjust and immoral.
"Really? Do you think she did? Really? You think she siliconed her lips? Really?"

Cate wrote: So Jason, what happens if you send out that mass email telling everyone to cancel before lunch and confirmation of payment comes through from both BMG and GWhiz after lunch?
Well, before Lunch, I will get a phone call from the guy at BMG and post the results.

By now, one of three things happened :

1 - BMG had been paid. I will get confirmation at 9h30 ( or so )
2 - BMG has not been paid. I will get confirmation at 9h30 ( or so )
3 - BMG might have been paid : the payment is still on it's way.

For the first two conditions, we will know WAY before lunch ( unless Jason eats lunch at 9h00 in the morning  ).

As for the third one, I am sure there is a way to know if payment is on it's way or not.

BMG, after all the problems, must have insisted on a trackable form of payment.

We only need to wait another hour or hour and a half...

I'm tempted to eat my lunch right now. However, I plan to wait until 12PM. Nobody likes to eat lunch alone. (Last time I ate lunch at 9am was in High School, where lunch started WAY early).

And what do you plan to eat for lunch on "ultimatum day"? I have to admit, it feels more like "Rex Manning Day" over at empire records. The 12 PM lunch crowd is such a drag, you should should check out the more mellow 11 AM bunch.

Kenny, it's not like this is my last supper or anything. :D

I'm going to have some liver, with a nice chianti and fava beans. :D

Seriously, I don't know. I have to see what my wife packed in my lunchbox. (and not an MSCL lunchbox, at that :x )

I have noticed the fine selection of lunchboxes available over at this unique website http://www.anotheruniverse.com. I am a little bit nervous about ordering from them, though. Do you think they are a reputable online retailer? Have you noticed that their "daily buzz" is not so daily anymore? And what's this "advance store"? Do you think it's a good idea to order from that?
