If you pay attention, you'll we're already there. Those helpful movie ratings have warned me of: "kickboxing violence", "vampire violence", "exaggerated meanness" (mean people), "action violence" (as opposed to when you're just sitting around being violent), "epic battle sequences", "some scary images", "thematic elements" (whatever that means), "exotic sexual fantasies", "daredevil sports action", "sensuality" (not sexuality), "martial arts and swordfight violence", "some drug sequences", "sex-related humor", "alcoholism and teen pregnancy", and my personal favorite, "brief teen partying".
I guess that's what I get for only watching porn - I'm so ignorant of all these new fangled warnings meant to protect my innocent eyes from the bad stuff that exists in the world. Maybe AU should put a warning on their website - nah, there would be too many abbreviations. F for fradulent! S for stealing! L for lying! I feel like I am on a demented version of Sesame Street.

The funniest thing about the movie warnings is that they encourage corruption of minors. It just makes it easier for our kids to avoid "thematic elements" and head straight for the "exotic sexual fantasies" I'm all grown up, so my fancy right now is "exagerated meanness" with "some scary images" thrown in for good measure. grrrrrrrrrrrr.

As far as AU, I'd like to tack on a C for Clueless and EWPE Entertaining With Pathetic Elements

Kenny-

Because I already get spammed so much, I did not take notice,
but several people over at http://www.hometheaterforum.com where
Jason regularly posts in the thread regarding MSCL dvds in the
"Software" section, many people mentioned that after they placed
their orders through Another Universe, they started getting porn spam.
(Some had never had it before, and were, understandibly outraged.)

And not just any kind of porn. Kiddie porn.

Another Universe claimed that someone must've hacked their system
to get all the e-mail addresses.

Now, based on all the stuff that has happened, it seems that at least
the possibility exists
that Another Universe might have sold the e-mail
addresses to porn spammers for some cash.

I keep looking at the thread title and I want to burst out singing "We'd Like to Thank You Herbert Hoover" from Annie.

In light of that, my previous attempt to make a joke doesn't seem quite so funny. I was talking about totally legal vanilla porn!

Seriously, I get porn spam all the time. I chalked up the sudden increase to someone with a list figuring out that I had a legit hotmail account, but maybe it's due to AU!

I, too, have received "kiddie porn" (man, that phrase skeeves me out) spam e-mail since I ordered from AU.

Just another reason for me to despise AU. :x

Hey thanks, I did not know that forum existed. I just read some of the early posts... one word DEPRESSING. There is one post from April where Jason reminds folks that even if the set shows up on other retailers websites that the set is exclusive to AU and that they simply picked up the UPC code. Of course, au is to blame for the fact that now the set is available at any website with the word dvd in it.

pgh_kenny-

That is a great forum. If you have any interest in DVDs, that is
the best forum in existence. The studios watch that forum, and some
execs even post there.

Just a heads up. :)

I would only hope some posters on this message bord could Chill Out
and dont let them get to you, Some customer will only think what more can I get if I Yell or Bich ,We all don't think like that But we know %05 do
and we %95 will pray for the %05 .

There are two ways to get enough: one is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
So they still haven't put you back in your padded cell!
