Good Omen

Post by Nostradamus » Sep 18th 2002, 8:35 pm

Not to get your hopes up too much, but I was just reading the new posts when I had a sort of precognitive "flash forward" of myself watching the dvds. Bearing in mind that my psychic batting average doesn't even come close to my namesake, but I get it right once in a while. I know it's not as good as an official "dvds are shipping now" post, but I thought we could use any encouragement we can get at this point. :)

I know a few divination systems; maybe I'll look into this further...

I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it.

I had a cognitive flash-forward of an AU employee (#4 of 5) shipping my DVD set out and it ending up in Addis-Abboba, Ethiopia.

Where did Garfield usually ship Nermal?

Garfield always tried to ship Nermal to Timbuktu (sp), right?

I had a dream last night that I was watching the dvd's. I've never been known to be prophetic, but it sure did put me in a good mood this morning. :)

I kept trying to think of the song, but it wasn't coming to me. But now I remember it!

Ah-boo-dah-bee! Ah-boo-dah-bee!

That's all I remember...

I really thought that Garfield always sent Nermal to Timbuktu. I would have bet my first born on it.

It was indeed Abu Dhabi.

From the official site (http://www.garfield.com/comics/meet/gang.html):
Nermal
Self-proclaimed "World's Cutest Kitten," Nermal often flaunts his cuteness while he taunts Garfield about his looks and age. But Garfield gets in his licks: he once mailed Nermal to Abu Dhabi!
Take that!
so says Sparx.

Nermal was a male?

I have to go re-think my entire way of life.
