I got paid.

Post by danguyf » Aug 18th 2002, 8:10 pm

A check from Ross arrived a few days ago, payment in full for my services designing the lunchbox packaging. I wasn't planning to ask for payment until the set had been shipped, so I was impressed that Ross took the initiative and went ahead and sent it to me.

I can't speak to a lot of stuff that has been happening lately -- I've been busy looking for a new job and so haven't been actively pestering Jason for progress updates and the like -- but I will say that Ross has always been extraordinarily generous to me at every turn.

I'd take any rumours to the contrary with a grain of salt.

While I want to pretty much strangle everyone at BMG and AU.com (and I'm pretty sure they want to strangle me, but that is besides the point-- heck I might as well also throw in Buena Vista for good measure. You might as well piss everyone off... This just happens naturally when there are so many delays in a project), I can confirm that everyone that is supposed to be gettng paid is getting paid. I'm even supposed to be getting paid up. ra!

I just logged into the customer service page and it looks like the overcharges are being fixed promptly, too. Not exactly getting paid, but good to know it has been taken seriously.

Everyone at MSCL.com and at BMG and AU has to know now that if I am a pain in the ass, it is because I want to see the fans get what they deserve (and paid for). I'll be the first to admit that I am not fun to deal with. It's the years I spent as an insurance adjuster. I just can't shake it.
