Lisa Waltz on Nip/Tuck (2004)Lisa Waltz on Nip/Tuck (2004)The actress who played Hallie Lowenthal was the patient of the week on Nip/Tuck tonight. 9/26/04. Just caught the end of it, but there she was.
I just saw the end of the episode too - she played an abused woman who claimed her husband didn't break her nose.

Look, if this is weird for you, being tutored? I don't mind helping you a little longer. You could have sex with me if you really want to help...I guess that's a "no"? I thought she did a really wonderful job. Her character was so depressing and I wanted to slap her. It really was a sad story. But you could almost taste her lonliness and weakness. I really enjoyed her performance.
For those that that watched it:
Her husband was getting out of jail for killing their baby son by throwing a toy at his head, and he also broke her nose. So, Hallie went to the doctors to get a nose job, b/c she was finally "over" it and wanted to move on. Well, then she gets back together with her husband, and he wants a new nose to change his looks, so no one recognizes him anymore b/c he is a killer and wants to move on. Jackass. Anyway, at the end, they come back, and duh!, he hit her again and broke her nose, so she wanted Christian and Sean to fix it again. But she insisted that he didn't hit her, that she fell. What a sad situation.
"I have all these dreams where I know exactly what to say. And you tell me, you know, that you forgive me."
You know, in light of her character's plotline I find that assessment very interesting. Natasha aka candygirl :: MSCL.com

Meanwhile, Mr. Megs cowers in the basement... I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure.
-- Clarence Darrow I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. -- Mark Twain LOL "I have all these dreams where I know exactly what to say. And you tell me, you know, that you forgive me."
