Name That Character
Name That CharacterFor those of you who, like me, are frequently bored and easily amused, this is a mindlessly simple game we can play. Basically, you just try to divine a MSCL character's identity from a quote or other clue and post the answer in this thread. The first person to correctly answer gets to post a new clue, and the game continues.
Example: "Cliches happen." -- Answer: Graham Any major or minor character that has a speaking role or is mentioned by another character is fair game. I realize there is only so much material to work with but try to be creative with the clues. Also, don't be a wuss and use the transcripts to get answers. Transcripts may only be used for answer verification or help with clue formation. My frightening psychic powers will tell me if you are cheating. You may keep score, but that would only confirm how pathetic our lives truly are. First clue: "There has not been a more overrated team." I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure.
-- Clarence Darrow I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. -- Mark Twain
Cheryl Feck -- Neil took her instead of Marla on the weekend away with the Chases in "Weekend." TomSpeed
Patty: If Rayanne's not seeing you, and we're not seeing you, who is seeing you? Graham: And how much of you? Angela: Dad! Graham: Oh, I'm sorry! I asked a question about your life, didn't I? Woah, what came over me? http://www.last.fm/user/TomSpeed/
TomSpeed, where is your question?
Sometimes I write a little MSCL fanfiction: https://www.fanfiction.net/u/1039807/Jody-Barsch
Also, after multiple V. Mars reiterations, and finally a Deadwood movie, still wishing for some continuation of The Riches !
I was waiting on confirmation that I was right. Plus, I forgot. And, the Stanley Cup is at MY HOUSE. OK, I am kidding about the last one.
I'll throw a big, meaty one over the plate. Who said this: Anne Frank? Is she a girl in your class? TomSpeed

You are right! TomSpeed

You got me. One of Jordan friends...Sean? TomSpeed

I kept thinking Shane/Sean, Shane/Sean. I have a nephew named Shane. So, I thought his name was getting me confused. I'm easily confused. TomSpeed

Shane's right. Ms. Lerner took me a while, I could play the scene in my head but I had a hard time remembering what her name was untill I remembered her geometry review. Are we suppose to wait to see if our answer is correct before we post the next quote, or just answer it and go?
"To come to your senses, you must first go out of your mind." - Alan Watts
The person who asks a question should check for answers. Then, he or she can tell us who answers correctly. The person who answers a question correctly should then ask another question. This procedure assumes, of course, that we know the answers to the questions we ask and that we are following up to on this thread.
