Who cancelled and still got the e-mail?

Post by dTheater » Nov 6th 2002, 9:46 pm

So I cancelled twice, almost a month from the day, yet AU is still shipping to me. This is actually convenient in a way, because after cancelling with AU, I ordered with Amazon, then cancelled with them so I could order with DeepDiscount, then decided to change my credit card number after hearing that people who cancelled were being charged again, and so had to cancel with DeepDiscount until I got my new credit card #. So that's where I am now when I find out that I'm getting them from AU. Kind of a pisser that I could've gotten them $50 from DeepDiscount instead of twice that from AU except that they couldn't take the 2 seconds to read my damn e-mail.

Actually, I might just go ahead and dispute the original charge with my credit card company anyway. After all, I did cancel and didn't recieve a refund, and the credit card people I've talked to are aware of the AU situation. Maybe I'll just go ahead and pull the ol' switcheroo on ol' AU.

Right now I wish that happened to me. I cancelled on the 12th of October with Ross through email. He told me it would be processed the coming week. I haven't seen any credit yet.

So when I saw that people got their DVDs I figured I would take the chance and send them the "Un-cancel and Ship"(if you wanted to keep your order and not cancel) email that they requested in the email they sent on the 25th to people who cancelled.

So, I emailed where they said to and also to Ross directly. He got back to me quickly that night and said that it shouldn't be a problem to un-cancel my order and he would get back to me after he checked it out that day. It's been 2 days now and he hasn't gotten back to me. I sent him 2 more emails.(I'm very impatient at this point). It seems like he will get back to you the first time you contact him but when you ask for follow-ups he doesn't reply to you or do the things you requested. Right now I do want my set from them. I want on of those tracking number emails to magically show up in my inbox so that I'll be surprised. But right now it seems all I can do is try to keep bugging Ross about it.

I do have an order with Amazon so I will get them soon no matter what, but I think I should get what I paid for from AU and not have to work so hard at it.
+it can't be all that hard if you can sum it up in a postcard.

I cancelled when things were looking ugliest, but only by email which seems to have been ignored since i have my tracking number.

Decision on what to do is pending. (and i still haven't been refunded a $115 overcharge) :x
