Did you drink the Kool Aid?

Post by Jason R » Oct 30th 2002, 9:39 am

Apparently, some AU investors are calling me a "modern day Jim Jones."

I didn't realize that the members of his cult all killed themselves because they were double billed by AnotherUniverse.com. :P

Ahem. There are some interesting spelling and grammer errors in that message. Something's looking familiar...

 Who the hell is Jim Jones anyway?

I didn't drink the kool aid but I thought it was awfully suspicious when he asked us all to by the same colored tennis shoes. Then there was that request to start stock piling our ammo. I did not get concerned until he asked us to call him the almighty holy reverend and send him our credit card numbers...oh wait that was ross.

I didn't realize I was aligned with Jason! Gosh, it's so... so...

...unbelievably obvious that it still required someone to point it out.

Luckily, I ordered my Kool-Aid from AU, and I'm still waiting for it to ship. :P

And it didn't come with the stir stick it was supposed to. How about a nice Hawaiian Punch?

That's because you don't need a stir stick - Ross is going to stir the Kool-Aid with his ____!

What's fun is reading ol' Mr. Underscore's messages as if he was Bobby Trendy from the Anna Nicole Show. It becomes even more hilarious when he's trying to rip on Howard, cause thats exactly what Bobby tries to do. Keep his voice in mind when you read this:

"sherrif_of_cybertown" wrote:
"me me me, its all about you isnt it? GROUP HUG!!!!FOR HAOWARD. he is a loney loser with the its all about me complex ."

Now doesn't that sound friggin hilarous coming out of Bobby Trendy's mouth? Hey, wait a minute! Maybe it IS Bobby Trendy! Holy Cow! He got ripped on Anna, and bought too much AU stock, and now he's sore about that too. He has to take it out on us cause we're making his poor little company look bad.

I can see him curled up crying in a corner after a late night of bashing.

great idea!

I loved when Howard dressed up as Bobby Trendy and started talking about the luxuuuuurious stuff he had for her!

:D

If you strip away all the humor, the content is so ridiculously immature - both Bobby and Mr. Underscore. It almost makes you feel sorry for them. Well at least until they start talking again.
