How strange it is,
To be in a lover's embrace
Yet still feel loneliness
How strange it is to be once admired
Then suddenly forgotten
To feel emptiness
When the sun is shining
To walk into an empty room
And feel like you belong

How odd it is to find inspiration
From staring at a wall
How odd it is to find completeness
When the rain makes it hard to see
To know you are crying
Yet no tears seem to fall
To want something so bad
Yet you know it could never be
How odd it is to be in a lover's embrace
yet still feel loneliness

How funny it is to find comfort
While watching other people's lives
How funny it is to think its right
Yet you realise it was all wrong
When u feel as ugly as you can get
Then someone says you are beautiful
When u feel its time to fight
Yet find nothing to attack
How strange it is when you're standing on the
edge, thinking you're all alone in the world
When the arms of a friend holds you tight
And pulls you back.
