Mary Kay Place plays C.Z. Shakespeare on the HBO series 12 Miles of Bad Road:
A comedy centered around the matriarch (Tomlin) of a wealthy Texas family and the problems they incur due to their wealth and powerful real estate business.
Also starring Lily Tomlin, Ivana Milicevic (who is turning into H!ITG), Katherine LaNasa (Three Sisters), David Andrews (Terminator 3), Gary Cole (Office Space), Kim Dickens (Deadwood), Cameron Richardson (Point Pleasant), Sean Bridgers (Deadwood), and Leigh Allyn Baker (Will & Grace).

According to this article, HBO canceled the series after six episodes but the producers are pitching it to other networks.
