Juliana Hatfield talks about her experience on MSCL

Post by Sascha » Apr 2nd 2008, 9:13 am

Juliana Hatfield (who appeared as the angel in the Christmas episode of MSCL) wrote a very interesting article about her adventures on the show. She describes how she got the inspiration for the song "Make it Home" and how she got the part of the "angel". Really worth reading! Actually, her entire blog is a must-read for everyone who likes her music.

I was moved by this storyline — by the plight of Ricky and also the dead girl and all the other homeless kids in her abandoned building and others who, we are reminded, are alone and miserable at Christmastime. So it wasn’t hard for me to put real feeling into the song.

Graham: And how much of you?
Angela: Dad!
Graham: Oh, I'm sorry! I asked a question about your life, didn't I? Woah, what came over me?

I agree. It's a great post. Juliana is very well-spoken/written. Fun stuff!
