I have a question....

i got a bootleg copy on ebay. It's pretty good though. it was only 30 bucks and it has the bonus disc. But it won't work on my playstation 2. The ps2 normally plays all my dvds. Also i have a dvd player that it did work on and it worked on a computer. But i can't get it to work on the ps 2! i have a dvd player and a newer tv downstairs. And in my room i have the ps 2 and an older tv. Is it because the tv is old? If anyone knows why this is i would greatly appreciate it.
