MSCL On American Idol.............

I don't know if anyone here who watches American Idol noticed that on last night's episode they were holding the tryouts to see who would be invited to Hollywood and they did a segment on "Rock n Rollers" both guys and gals.......well, they showed a girl and she started singing "I wanna be sedated"!!!!

I have Tivo and so I backed it up to be sure and I cracked up when I saw her trying to sing it!

Randy and Simon both said "I AM SEDATED!!!!"

Needless to say, she did not get through.

Anyone else catch it?

"I Wanna Be Sedated" is a Ramones song. Jordan's band was covering it on one episode (On the Wagon? can't remember title...) So I'm not sure that someone auditioning with "I Wanna Be Sedated" on American Idol is necessarily an MSCL reference.

I did not even think of The Ramones.........I automatically remembered it from MSCL, so for me anyway, it was a reference.

Either way, it was something I thought people would like to know.
