I think this guess will give the answer away if it is wrong...

Patty to Graham when she is tasting something he is cooking. She can't identify what it is.

Nope - I think you are thinking of this scene from Guns & Gossip:

Graham[giving her a spoon full of food]: Here. Taste this.
Patty: I couldn't taste anything_Guns are going off in school. Angela's sleeping with someone.
Graham: You don't know that. How is it?
Patty: You know, and even if she isn't, which I pray is true, she obviously has some sort of secret life completely apart from us - this is wonderful.
Graham: Cilantro.

then a few minutes later:

Angela[coming into the kitchen]: Can I taste whatever it is?
Graham: Sure.
Angela: Mmmmm, cilantro, I love that.
Graham: Very good. You know I thought with the tomato it would sharpen it a bit.

Thanks, but having so many guesses before me made it a little easier. I originally was thinking along the lines of Angela to Sharon in the bathroom at the end of 'The Zit' when comparing "what they have", but after seeing that it wasn't Angela, I had to start thinking a bit harder.

I need some time before I post a new one, I'll try to get one in by tonight
