Looking for Creative CriticismLooking for Creative CriticismOk, I think I'm finally going to break my anonymity on the board. I figure its been long enough that RossCo. won't take revenge on me for all the places I've filed complaints against them, and all the very nice things I've said about them on this board.
Anyways, I figure there's some creative people on this board, so I'd tap into some of that. I'm driving a friend out to meet another friend in Seattle in a week, and while I'm out there, I'm going to be looking for jobs. I've just updated my portfolio website, but if people have any suggestions on how to make it better, easier, simpler, etc, I'd definitely consider them. My site's here: http://www.imaginationispower.com I'm also in the process of creating a short animation to fill out my demo reel. You can see the work I've put into that so far here: http://animation.imaginationispower.com If you feel like it, you can comment right on the blog. I haven't quite nailed the story down, but the basic ideas are there. Feel free to be honest with the constructive critism too. School professors would always pull their punches, and it didn't ever help the students. So yeah, feel free to tell me what you think! (and of course, part of this is me just sort of wanting to showing off ) "Your imagination, like a child, will explode with unrestrained possibilities for adventure."
Did you really do work for Battle Bots? I'm more of a Robot Wars UK man myself, but any robotic combat is cool.
I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure.
-- Clarence Darrow I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. -- Mark Twain Unfortunately, that was just a poster project for school. The only "professional" work I've done was in an internship, and I can't even really show that work yet, since the shows haven't publicly aired (even though its been over a year, and my "payment" for the work was the fact I was supposed to be able to use my work on my demo reel. Blargh)
