they leave me a bit cold, I can appreciate their stuff, but not really something I'd go out and buy.

I don't really like this band either. My biggest complaint is the female singer - she's really awful. There is nothing there behind her voice. It's just... hollow, if you know what I mean.

When Evanesence first came out, CCM referred to them as a christian band and then their CD came out and they said being christian was a phase and after that CCM stopped mentioning them and I also noticed that when their CD came out christian bookstores sold copies then after a while and after they made this statement, my local bookstores at least, stopped carrying their CD. I know it has`nt affected them but I thought it was interesting. I think they are alright but I only listen to them on ocassion cause they can really bring you down sometimes.
