The Hobbit

Hello all,

Just saw a blurb reported on http://www.thedigitalbits.com that New Line Cinema is trying to get the right to make the Hobbit into a movie. Peter Jackson has expressed an interest in doing this movie as soon as he is done with his King Kong remake. Ian McKellen has expressed interest in reprising his role as Gandalf.

The issue appears to be tied up with legal wrangling with the Tolkien estate. You can also read about information about the Return of King Extended Release at the 'bits.
