I Love the 80's/I Love the 90's on VH-1
That isn't nice ![]() ![]()
I love Michael Ian Black. I do love him (say it like the girl in the cell phone commercial with the picture of the guy eating at the diner).
Maybe it's because I love Ed, or maybe it's because MIB makes an attempt to say something other than, "Oh I remember these" and expositioning about what exactly Garbage Pail Kids or Roos are, unlike many of the other people they interview. Natasha aka candygirl :: MSCL.com
Look, if this is weird for you, being tutored? I don't mind helping you a little longer. You could have sex with me if you really want to help...I guess that's a "no"?
Totally agree, it just made my infatuation with her even stronger...slowly I am reaching stalker status...one day. I don't know what it is about her but slightly FAS look just works. She was really funny though, I was very surprised. "If, like, I was on a date with a guy and he put that song on. I would totally think he was gay" ![]() Interesting....Juliette Lewis is one of my all time favs too!...I have had a thing for her since Cape Fear. I absolutely love her in Kalifornia. That movie kills me. Her performance is priceless. Nobody does stupid white trash like she can. She cracks me up everytime I see that movie.
I thought she was great on the I love the 80's too. She made the show for me.
I agree that it's too soon for an I love the 90s. I think we should still be glad they are over and wait a few more years before we get sentimental about them. However I think the time is always right to be sentimental about Nirvana. I was actually listening to them and getting a bit emotional on my way home from work about ten minutes before reading fnordboy's post. But it wasn't even really one of their songs, for some reason The Man Who Sold the World always gets me choked up.
edit--I will say that Nirvana is overrated, I've just enjoyed them a lot more than most mainstream bands.

Haha, I'm totally with you on the Nirvana thing! I swear that you, my boyfriend, two of my best friends, and I are the only non Kurt worshipping people on the planet. I agree that they really could have waited a few more years before doing I Love the 90s, but you know they just want to cash in now while they can. I don't have as much of a problem with them doing the early 90s, but if they do the whole decade, sheesh, 1999 was only five years ago! As historians like to say, it's difficult to have any amount of perspective or distance at this point, only a decade later. Then again, VH-1 isn't doing this to be historical. They just want to get a bunch of celebrities talking about what songs/movies/tv shows/toys they had. Natasha aka candygirl :: MSCL.com

definatley!! can't wait, i love all those shows!!! and that 90210 commercial is the best!!! "Apparently Delia Fischer smiles at everyone. She probably comes from one of
those small towns where everyone's friendly and smiles at you for no reason. I hate that type of town." -- Brian
