Beware the Night by Ralph Sarchie
Beware the Night by Ralph SarchieWhile The Mothman Prophecies investigates the mysteries that seem to come from another world, Ralph Sarchie, A NYC Police officer takes you along to investigate demons and spirts that seem to have always been here. While showing the reader that the occult is not something to play around with, he takes you face to face with several exorcisms and investigations of demon infestations. He clearly shows the hell that people encounter when these strange occurances begin.
One of my favorite parts is where he and his team are exorcising a rental house. The third floor resident wants nothing to do with whats going on and goes to his apartment and begins to play loud rock music. The team begins to perform the exorcism, clearing and blessing each room, when suddenly the music stops and the third floor resident comes back downstairs visibly shaken and asking how he can help. You'll be doing double takes at that shadow by your bedroom door after reading this one! ![]() "When I disagree with a rational man, I let reality be our final arbiter; if I am right, he will learn; if I am wrong, I will; one of us will win, but both will profit." - Ayn Rand
