AU refues to respond to bank investigatorAU refues to respond to bank investigatorWell, I'm finally getting a chargeback on my doublecharge from my bank, Amsouth. Here's the story:
When I filed my complaint, Amsouth attempted to contact AU to, among other things, acquire a receipt from them as part of the claim resolution process. Amsouth gives merchants 30 days to respond. 30 days passed, and AU failed to respond at all to any of the investigator's requests. I wish I could say I was shocked by this. Well, actually I am. I'm shocked that Ross didn't try to lie his way out of this like he has to everyone else. It's not much, but it's something I can add to my criminal complaints. I've been waiting to see how my chargeback played out before filing. NOTE:: It's wasn't easy getting my chargeback. Initially, Amsouth had closed the case wihtout refunding my money. I had to call them and work my way through to the actual investigator hadling my case. So if you bank or creditcard company is giving you a hard time, ask to speak to person investigating your case. Useless fact: A fradulent charge or transaction(s) must be at least $3500 before Amsouth will turn the case over to their corporate fraud division. This is how people like Ross get away with this crap; the banks are unwilling to do anything to stop them. ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: AU refues to respond to bank investigatorPhelix, Sorry about Amsouth being so unresponsive. As with AU do you think that if enough of Amsouth customers complained about AU that Amsouth might actually get off their collective duff and do something for you guys? All the best, Lance Man ![]() Re: AU refues to respond to bank investigatorI posed that exact question to the investigator. She was, to put it nicely, unresponsive. They seriously don't care about small ripoffs like this. Who is onlineUsers browsing this forum: No registered users and 1 guest |
