This is just silly already. The DVDs were supposed to ship in June. I live and go to school on the east coast of the US, so they should have arrived at my house in mid to late June. Then the shipping date was pushed back to October. For 4 months starting in September, I was going be (am now) in London. But I decided that $10 extra for shipping it to me here and having all 19 episodes to watch was worth it. So I filled out the form to change my shipping address, and was even able to get a personal response after a while that said they changed my address after very little bugging of anyone at AU, maybe just one or two emails to them.

October came and went. No DVDs. Then they finally started shipping the DVDs in November, so I figured I would get them in a few weeks, and then once I have them in hand, I would email them telling them to switch back my mailing address, since there is no way they are gonna get me my bonus stuff before I leave London on December 18th. (Yes, I am naive enough to think I will get bonus stuff at some point, someday.)

But then, of course, they decided that international orders should be last priority. It's like, they send 25 people their DVDs, and then they have the right to just stop trying to get the project finished. So now I don't even know if the DVDs will get to me in London in time. I will probably have to change my mailing address back to my home address in the US before even getting the DVDs. Changing my mailing address twice, because AU couldn't get me some damn DVDs in the time it took me to take a summer class and then go abroad for a semester. How freakin hard can it be to get DVDs that were supposed to be shipped in June to customers before Thanksgiving??? And then there's the voice in the back of my head telling me that if I hadn't changed my address in the first place, it's possible that I would have at least had the DVDs sent to my home in the US with the first wave of shipment. (Did anyone not in/near the west coast get DVDs with that shipment?)

[By the way...my birthday is next Wednesday, so if anyone at AU is reading this, getting my DVDs in the mail sometime in the next week would be a lovely birthday treat!]

To add to the fun, Citibank keeps sending me (well, my dad) letters about the whole thing. We got money back from Citibank for the double charge, but they haven't gotten it sorted out with AU yet, and Citibank are all confused and concerned because they're trying to get money back on a double charge for which I haven't gotten even one product yet. I get emails from AU telling me my DVDs will ship out this week, and I get hopeful as always, but when I have to explain to my dad the situation, how they were supposed to ship in June and then in October but now they are really shipping this week, and a few people have gotten their DVDs, really, I feel so stupid, like what have I gotten into, and who am I fooling thinking that I will ever get the DVDs.

I know you all have similar situations and this has all said before, but I just needed to say this. I want those DVDs so badly. I just looked at the post entitled "to you know, the person...who wrote it", and I saw the images from the last seconds of the last episode, and I got chills. The show still gives me chills. That's why this whole situation is so annoying. If it was just some special edition DVD of some movie, I wouldn't be so caught up in it. But this is MSCL. You can't wag that in my face and then snatch it away from me, then promise it to me again only to turn around and laugh at how big of a lie that promise was.

Argh!
