Jason is My Hero
Jason is My HeroJason, you are the kind of person I aspire to be.
I worked for a boss for 3 years who was just like Ross. Our customers always loved him initially until he kept screwing them over and over and over again. But he could talk his way out of anything. One customer called him "Promise Thomas"... another said he could "sell ice cubes to an eskimo". The stress my boss caused me on that job (he made lots of broken promises to me, too) made me quit and question my career choice. I actually decided to go back to school. I'm almost done with my Bachelor's Degree in Management Info Systems. So I know quite a bit about business. And I know that it takes guts to put yourself out there for the sake of integrity and honesty. You didn't have to use your real name. You didn't have to expose everything that went on. But you cared. I've seen people in the business world who lose their sense of morality - as if the two can't co-exists. And I've seen people cower and be afraid of speaking up for fear of losing their job, etc. So, in short... my hats off to you! You've done the right thing and I admire you.
