And how funny is it that the word "monosyllabic" is actually polysyllabic?

Just trying to amuse myself until we get some news.

:D

Well I wish I had better news but Ross didn't come through with what he agreed on. As of 10/18/02 we are still no closer to a completion date and I can't give word to the factory to continue. I will give updates as soon as any new developments happen.

New development. We are supposed to recieve it tomorrow as agreed. I just don't have a tracking number to confirm. So I'll post again tomorrow.

I'm amazed at the patience your company has shown throughout all this. But at what point will you have had enough and sever all contracts with AU? Having half-completed lunchboxes sitting around must be costing you some money.

That's a good question. I've never had to store an order before. Hmmmmm.

Sounds like just another stalling tactic on AU's part.

No tracking number? What a surprise!

No not the old "The check is in the mail" line. He sent it Fed Ex.

We get Fed ex around 1:00 and I'll let you know.

Better cash that check before you start the production line up again, Robert. ;)

David, this is not a joke. I don't know how you can bounce as many checks as these guys and not go to jail.

One of my last payments was actually wired from the bookkeeper's (Leslie) personal bank account. What is going on?

Jason, I hardly meant it as a joke. I was trying to give Robert some common-sense advice without being too preachy about it. I'm sure he already knows that, but it seemed like a good observation to make anyway...if I could do it without sounding like a dick.

Speaking as a recipient of many of these bounced checks, the advice was the kind of humor that ends up being--while still humor--right on the mark. :-) I actually had to start cashing them directly at BofA instead of depositing them, because his bounces were causing MY accounts to overdraft--so if there was no money behind the check, they were able to tell me right then and there, rather than after I had written 20 or so bills out.

There's a money shuffle going on here. Maybe someone here with Photoshop experience could merge the logos, and create "Another Enron." ;)
