Of all cast members who would you say is most similar to their character? And who is the least similar to their character?

To all: I'd like to know what it was like to read for the first time in front of the producers, How did you find out that you got the part in MSCL tv series? Where were you? What was it like personally for you? How did you re-act after being told that the series was not renewing?

Wilson: Did you ever wish that your character had the chance to expand it's boundaries more? Please tell Wilson that he is a great actor & I loved him in Party of Five too :)

Devon: Alot of people really identified with your character, guys could identify with wanting a girl so bad but the girl just not noticing you for who you really are, What is your most fondest memory of the show? Did you ever want your character to kiss Angela & see what it would have been like?

This one is for all three actors:

"What scene during the entire course of filming was your favorite to play...and means the most to you personally?"

"You're so beautiful, it hurts to look at you."

Do you have any lines/quotes/dialogue (either from your character or another's) that really stick out in your memory? e.g. ones that you felt best summed up your character, captured the essence of teenage angst, were just plain quirky-hilarious, etc. (people already took my questions about favorite episodes or scenes, so that only leaves 'quotes' to be asked!)

To Devon: according to the poll on the mscl.com site, the favorite character among die-hard MSCL fans (besides Angela) is Brian Krakow. When I first saw that, I was rather jealous because I relate to Brian so much on a personal level. The poll made me realize that so many other people felt the same way, which sort of surprised me. Why do you think that Brian has such a strong appeal? (p.s. thanks to Devon for doing such a fantastic job giving depth and soul to 'heartless' Brian. You gave brainiacs room for hope :-)

To all: What do you think about the portrayal of teenagers on most of the new teen shows out now in comparison to MSCL? (shows for which MSCL undoubtedly paved the way). I'm curious if you have any opinions about people in their mid-20's portraying teenagers. (Explanation: because I was a sophomore in high school when MSCL came out, now that it's about time for my 5-year high school reunion, I wondered what it would be like if MSCL had a reunion episode. When I thought about it, most of the cast members now are about the same age as other actors and actresses who are currently cast as 'teenagers' on various shows, so (in theory) one could almost pick up right where the series left off -- forget the 'reunion' idea! Yet I think part of the wonderful allure of MSCL was that the cast was pretty close in age to the characters they portrayed, which made it all the more real. Nothing personal against the cast of current teen shows; just an observation)

'There's something about my life. It's just automatically true that nothing actually happens.'

To all:

In the years since My So-Called Life was cancelled, have you had the chance to watch an episode or episodes? If so, what was that like for you? Are you able to be objective about it, and watch it as a fan would? Or are you inevitably distracted by what you remember going on in the background during filming?

If you are able to watch it as a fan, what do you think of MSCL? What kind of impact does it have on you?

For AJ:

We noticed that one episode of "Three Sisters" showed a flashback of your bedroom, with a MSCL poster on the wall. Was that your doing, or was someone else responsible for that piece of set decoration?

Addition to the question above:

What do you think happened to all characters in the mean time.

That's a little bit foolish (but I have to ask) question to Devon:

Your character Brian said in the episode "The Life of Brian" about Angelas hair, that it smells like an orange grove. If you can remember, did Claire's hair really smelled like this, or was it just a line in the script?

So many questions...I'm limiting this to three.

1. There were episodes that concentrated on each of your characters but only Brian got a voice over. What was it like recording the voice overs? How do you know how long to pause in the conversations?

2. Didn't Jeff Perry who played Katimski also direct "Betrayal"? Because he also directs Our Town in the episode, so wasn't that a little bit confusing?

3. Do you think the show got cancelled because of the subject matter? Like, Rayanne's alcoholism, or whatever.

Okay that's my three. I want to add that you guys rule and I can't sum up here all the individual perfect moments you each contributed to the show. Thanks.

Danguyf,
OOOPS....I thought I had until 8am central time this morning to ask the guys a question. If it is not too late, please just give them a big "THANKS" and "BRAVO" for me. I hope they can begin to grasp the impact their work had on so many of us.

So my feeling is, whatever happens, happens. K-man

Go away for a few days and mis everything.

Ok, so I know this is ridiculously late, but it's only a comment: tell Devon to do more comedies because he was great in Dick.

Dan, what a weird coincidence. I just realized after reading the article that Jason posted from usnews.com that you're the same Dan who moderates the Kaytee list. So that's why you were going to be in LA that one weekend.

Sorry for going way off on a tangent, just thought that was odd.

Yes, c'est moi. ^_^ I recognized your name, of course, immediately from the list. And weren't you a cloudmaker as well? We just keep running into each other.
