i just got a mass email from AU
At this point in time it seems best to encourage everyone on this board to write to the California Attorney General. I know there's a web form but you have to remember that in business paper and ink is still superior to electronic bits. I mean just look at a credit card dispute process. The initial part may be done over the phone but after that they ask for documentation on paper be it mail or fax, not forwarded email.
Also as Jason has been suggesting filing a complaint with http://www.ifccfbi.gov/ would help out. They may ignore a couple or even a dozen notices about AU but if several hundred show up someone will start paying attention. Clearly Ross only responds to threats. Having an FBI agent show up asking questions may make him a little more liberal with his wallet and start refunding people's money.
Monkeys at typewritersThis mass mail-out was yet another joke from AU. It's sole purpose was to give customers the opportunity to un-cancel their orders. It failed to contain a single detail of when refunds will be processed, or anything substantial.
The road just got a little longer. "I'm just an ordinary guy with nothing to lose."
