My predictionsMy predictionsI think the following will happen within a few days. AU is laying low to avoid any confrontations right now due to the whole Amazon developments, they are very aware of the fact that they can't compete with the price. AU is probably expecting the DVDs within days from BMG and will upon arrival send out a mass mail stating the set is now shipping and starts to charge creditcards. When this whole shipping process is initiated AU most likely thinks that it will calm down people and stop the whole lot of people moving over to Amazon.
So basically I'm not too concerned that we won't get our DVDs pretty soon now, it's just that we're getting them sooner than we are able to cancel our orders or get any answers of what AU will do to compensate the so-called exclusive deal. Returning sets can be a hassle, waiting endlessly for a refund, paying postage, not to mention the fact that you have to return a product you have waited for SO long and it's right there in your hands but you have to send it away again. Also, for some international buyers a lot of wasted money (due to customs which will charge tax on incoming merchendise and therefor first charge you for the first set then you'll have to return it and get a new from Amazon in which the tax is added again. Get the point? ![]() So AU, please inform us of what compensation you are willing to offer your customers, if not then I'm cancelling any day now.
