Ross, your Website is Wrong Again

"Another Universe is proud to announce that we are licensed as the EXCLUSIVE retailer for the “My So Called Life” DVD collection."

Better change that now...

...just keeping you on your toes.

See, it's stuff like that that makes me feel the most 'cheated' or lied-to in all this.

Originally, and after all the hassle, it almost seemed worth it, in a way, if we were actually encouraging a company to make a VERY limited pressing of a series that (apparently....) had no commercial demand/interest anywhere otherwise. That made it seem that, yes, we have difficulties, but think of the rare treasure we'll have when it's all done! Something that just cannot be had anywhere else!

To find out that now, however, it's very likely that that's NOT the fact, and that this set will be perfectly available other places for a lot cheaper, suddenly makes all the AU hassles and annoyances... well... a lot more unacceptable.

In my humble opinion.

That wouldn't be my lie.

If you'll notice the last sentence of the press release.

But I'll adjust it.

If you'll notice the last sentence of the press release.
The last sentence is "Due to international demand, the DVDs have no region coding and will play on any system around the world. "

I think Ross meant the next-to-last sentence: "The entire nineteen-episode set is available exclusively at http://www.AnotherUniverse.com/mscldvd for $115."

Yep, that would be, um, BMG's lie. Yep. It's right there in their press release.
