Are there still some left?

Post by Kristy » Sep 13th 2002, 12:40 am

Just wondering if I can still order one (without the lunchbox), or if there are all sold out? On the Another Universe site you can still order the set, but it sounds like some people are saying you can't get them if you haven't already preordered them, and I don't want to go through the hassle of dealing with AU if they're all sold out anyway.

Thanks for the reply! I'm glad you can still get them - I only just discovered the DVD's are getting released, and I would really like them as I've only seen each episode once when it was on pay TV years ago here in Australia.

The most recent double charge that was submitted to me was from 8/16. Submitted more recently than that, but supposedly the cause of the problem was fixed. I will let you know if i receive any later double charge notifications.

Jason you have been great through this whole thing, I have accepted the fact I am not going to get my credit from them after several emails of "we are looking into it" and "we are sorry for this".....what a bunch of crap! That is just my opinion Jason, thank YOU for all your help though.

what if the DVD was never brought to life

Post by james_bond_007 » Sep 16th 2002, 12:25 pm

where would you be, probably better of, and less angry about a show that was cancelled a few years ago.

My whole life doesnt revolve around this DVD, which is why Im not feeling the way you do.

I have seen people who's children were murdered, act less hateful than you.

I think that if this DVD is upseting you this much, and you want to bad mouth someone for less thanl 1,000 dollars, thats pretty petty

small claims court would laugh at you, and so would I,

thanks for ruining my day :)

What are you talking about?? I just said I hope somewhere else sells them. Yes I want these DVD's really bad, why else would I be on this awesome website if I didn't love the show. I am not being hateful at all, but AU stole my money. If they did the same to you then you may feel the same way, and if you don't then that is your choice. Just as it is my choice to say and do what I want! I am certainly not comparing this to a murdered child, you are going a little overboard with that!! If your child was murdered though, you would have much more hate then this!!! There is nothing petty at all about wanting justice and having the right thing done here. When they screw you, you will feel same way. You can just bend over and take the crap AU does, that is your choice. Good luck with your purchase. Small Claims court can laugh all they want, and you can too....trust me I not losing any sleep that you are laughing at me.

you make a federal case out of

Post by james_bond_007 » Sep 16th 2002, 12:50 pm

buying a DVD ?

Im not the one with the problem, and I dont condone AU actions, but instead of accusing AU of stealing, and slandering them, which is illegal,

Call you credit card company and cancel the order, or dispute it, and get you electronic money back,

Its that simply, your blowing this up why. You carry on why,

I would have gotten my money back by now, and my credit card company would have done all the work, now what is you beef other than , crying bloody murder, or yelling fire ina theater, for a simply charge that can be easily credit back to you card by you credit card company?

I think your have an agenda. Thats my honest opinion.

OK....

Not sure what you are talking about again, I have no agenda what so ever. I just want my money back. I am not slandering anyone, I am stating a fact that is all. Money was taken for a product that they are not entitled to. When it is re-imbursed then I will thank them and all will be done. I think you are the one blowing this all up, I am totally relaxed. I have been talking with my credit card company for your information, I would just like some recognition from them that are actually doing the work they are supposed to do as a business. This has been fun dude, thanks for making work go by quicker today!!

I'm Sorry

Post by George » Sep 16th 2002, 1:24 pm

To everyone reading, especially Jason.....I am not trying to start any trouble, I am frustrated with this whole thing. I was not intentionally slandering anyone, I was just expressing my opinions as everyone else does....and some where worse then mine! Jason, I am sure you get plenty of bitching from people about this and no more will come from me. I will live with whatever happens, as long as I get those DVD's from somewhere!!!!
