Yes, hate is a strong word. But among the things you mentioned, Claire and Jared also REFUSE to discuss MSCL in interviews and sign autographs on any MSCL related material. Maybe they don't hate the show...but they certainly don't like being associated with it.

Back on the ad: I still haven't seen it come up again.

The rumours about Claire and Jared hating MSCL and not wanting to be associated with it any longer are wildly inflated to the point of being near urban legends.

When the show was first canceled, some blamed Claire for allegedly not wanting to return to the show. This was premature. The truth is far more subtle and complex. It's one of the things discussed in the interview I did with Winnie, actually, that will be on the bonus disc.

All I remember is that the person was from Arizona I think.

And hate is probably a little over-blown; maybe just tired of being remembered for one thing in a lot of circles. With Claire, MSCL is, IMO, the only good thing she's ever done, so she has no one to blame but herself for being known mainly for MSCL. But Jared Leto's been in some fine movies, Requiem For a Dream in particular, so I could see why it might tick him off.
