Can Anyone Help Me Find The Status Of My Order???

Post by dgenner8 » Sep 4th 2002, 2:40 pm

Hi.
I ordered the set way back in February, as did a lot of people, and have heard little to nothing since. Thankfully, I have not been overcharged, but I wonder now if that is because there is actually something wrong with my order. I've tried using the customer service page Jason was so kind to set up, but have not gotten a response from anyone yet (though Jason did read my post there twice). I'm getting sort of worried now that I have moved (which was another reason I posted to the automated site) that I won't get the DVD's I paid for months ago. If I had the time to call AnotherUniverse, I would, but I am at work for nearly 12 hours a day including their office hours, and can't spend what little time I have off on the phone (does that make me lazy??). Can anyone help easy my worried mind?? Jason? AU??

Please.
Duncan

Call AU instead of sitting on the computer asking people at a message board to help you.

Obviously AU isn't using that customer service form right and they aren't very quick with answering emails( when they do ).

You need to call AU if you want your order status and address changed. I wouldn't just sit around waiting for something to happen on the computer.

I called them even though I hate using the phone and found out my order was all set and it put my mind at ease. I really suggest you do the same thing..

perhaps it's easier for me to use the computer at work, when all of my outgoing calls are being watched, and they "frown upon" personla calls. the computer is my only way of dealing with this while at work. when i get home, it's too late to call AU, at least according to their posted hours on their site.

I too was worried about the status of my order. [Thankfully I have not been double charged.]

I called the AU toll-free number and after waiting on hold for fifteen minutes, I confirmed my order and what had been charged my card. Then confirmed that only shipping charges were left.

I then asked about the shipping date. The guy on the phone said that they were going to try to start shipping on September 17th, but that they had 4,000 orders to package and ship out, so it could be a while before they got all the orders out.

Take it as you will, just passing on the information I got.

I know that it is probably easier for you to use the computer but you really should try and call when you have a chance. (I got through first attempt and didn't have to be on hold at all).

Everything will get done quicker though the phone and at least you can rest easy knowing that everything was taken care of, instead of wondering if they even read about your problem yet.

I do believe AU response to phone calls quicker while not they would reply nothing if you send them email or custoemr service form. But I'm in oversea, and because of different time-zone reason, phone calling is not a suitable method for me as well as other fans who is in oversea.
