nothing but problems!!

Post by Panage2000 » Aug 28th 2002, 3:43 pm

I pre odered back in april and first they charge me for the shipping and handling which i call them and let them know which ofcourse they tell my they will refund the extra 4.95. No refund ever hit my acct. Next they they send my an email saying I requested a cancelation which I never did when I try to call the customer service number its nothing but a voice mailbox that I have left three messages and have not heard anything back. I also did the email form to no avail. What is going on??? My order number is w3212325. I am thinking this might be nothing but a scam. I hate to think this. Can anyone help me??

automated response follows:

Hello,

I have been involved as a go-between for AnotherUniverse and customers, to solve billing problems, etc. However, due to the volume of problems (address changes, email changes, credit card issues), I have had to post an automated customer service page.

I still read all submissions, but only once they are submitted to:

http://www.drygrass.com/mscl

My experience from my honeymoon was that this page actually improved response time, so I am making it permanent. Some good features of the customer service page:

1) You can choose to be notified each time AU reads your request
2) You will receive an automated response once the request is processed

As far as ship date is concerned, AU announced September 17, while I was away. I think the discs will be done significantly earlier, and they are just giving themselves time to get 3,700 sets assembled.

I have already filled out that form about a week and a half ago and nothing. Any ideas?

Call them and demand a refund.

888-5-COMICS.

My inbox is literally stuffed with complaints. I am forwarding everyone to the form because I cannot keep up. If you submitted the complaint via the form, I have a record of it, but unfortunately I am only functioning as a go-between and cannot actually touch your transaction. If I could, I would.

I simply don't know what is going on on their end, but I hope they can post an explanation here. People are justifiably upset.

Actually, scratch that. I don't want an explanation. I want these charges corrected.
