Positive Post...Please Don't Ruin :)

Post by ErichH0374 » Aug 21st 2002, 2:05 pm

I was getting a little antsy this morning, when I realized I cant find my order #. So, I called AU. Wade answered (he must've been busy, cuz I was on hold for what felt like forever...hehehe sorry wade). He asked how he could help, and I said just wanted to check on my MSCL order and then joked with him about this site and how many calls he recieves. He said hes getting hundreds!!! WOW!!! So, He entered my info, and like seconds I had my order # and everything was confirmed!! Now, I havent personally had any problems, and I am sorry to those of you have, but Wade seemed very helpful and nice. So, after we talked about this posting site, I thought it would be cool of me to simply say thanks to Wade and give everyone something nice to read for a change. Again, Im not going to call you whiners or anything, just sometimes you need reassurance that its not everyone and this will work out in the end (hopefully!!!!!!)

I have to say, that I am also one of the lucky ones who's had a relatively smooth run with my DVD order.

I've paid my pre-order balance, i've paid the remaider for the set, and i've also been promised that my order is all ready to go, except for the shipping. No over-charges, no cancellation emails, no problems. I honestly think that the problems incurred by some have been unfortunate, and the repeated over-charges an imposition, but
I do believe that AU will eventually get around to sorting it.
Just imagine how busy and strssed they must be right now - and that if it wasnt for AU (et al) we wouldnt even be getting the set.

Look, I know the wait is seemingly endless, and the lack of response can be frustrating, but if you pester them (in a nice way so your not problem isnt forgotten!) they WILL sort it. I ordered the t-shirt from them a few weeks back and was charged an astonishing $40.00 for the shipping alone, but once I contacted Ross about it, he refunded my card and apologised more than once.

Just give them a break and some credit for the stuff they've done right.

They are trying.
